Providing the best in veterinary medicine includes protecting ourselves from burn out and this is a large step in that direction. We are positive that Dr. Morgan Krause and Dr. Ronnie Outlaw will take excellent care of you on our days off! EEE cases confirmed in Florida!

Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE) is a deadly neurologic disease spread by mosquitoes... it can also make humans sick! The vaccine is effective and guaranteed if administered by a veterinarian. In South Carolina the official recommendation is vaccination every 6 months to ensure coverage during the ongoing mosquito season. For people, please control the mosquito population around your house and wear proper repellent when outdoors!

EHV-1 Outbreak in Minnesota

Several horses at a barrel racing competition in Minnesota were recently diagnosed with Equine Herpes Virus 1.  Please remember there is no vaccine for EHV-1 and it can be very deadly. An elevated temperature is often the first sign. For more information:
